This is a very rare "Extension / Portable" lamp circa 1890's with an unmarked Dale style brass lamp base and fixture, Edison lamp socket, GE Co. switch, fluted milk glass reflector shade and Edison frosted light bulb. The Dale style brass fixture is 22 inches high and adjustable from 10 inches to 21 inches up and down. The extension arm allows the Edison socket and fluted milk glass reflector shade to be extend in and out up to 8 inches. The NOS condition 1900 vintage Edison light bulb has frost glass, is 8 c, 113 v with a secured 2 loop, carbon filament. This historic lamp is featured in early lighting catalogs and its beauty and classic utility is authentic circa 1890's. It is un-restored and in exceptional working condition. The lamp also features the original cord and an old style in-line blade porcelain plug.
