This is a great little toy bi-polar dynamo - motor, the "New Departure" Electric Toy Battery Dynamo - Motor. This early electric toy has a bi-polar field magnet wound for 2 to 6 volts. The commutator has a copper "strip" brush assembly. The motor is 2.5 inches in diameter and 2.25 inches deep.
