Here is a very nice Ruby glass New Type Edison light bulb. This fine exhibit of early electric lighting history has a beautiful ruby glass globe, the filament is carbon and the lamp also has a brass and porcelain button Edison screw base. This Edison carbon lamp (light bulb) is nearly a century old and still works.
