Here is a beautiful and complete Type "RR" Edison Battery, Edison's Rail Road crossing signal battery. The Edison crockery jar has typical aging and patina color. The embossed "Thomas A. Edison" script signatures on both zinc plates are still in perfect condition. The 2 zinc signature plates, the copper oxide center plate and copper hangers are all original, including the knurled brass thumb screws. This battery stands 10.5 inches tall and is 7.5 inches in diameter.
