Famous Edison Lamp Collection DISCOVERED After Century in Darkness

Lamp #15 was made by Sir Hiram S. Maxim in 1882. The printed label attached to the lamp base states, "MAXIM LAMP Pat't July 20th, 1880 - " (Pat't) Jan. 17th, 1882 - " (Pat't) Feb. 21st, " (1882) - July 24th, " (1882) - Nov. 28th, " (1882). This lamp has the large Maxim "M" filament. This is a rare Maxim lamp in extraordinary condition, note the internal narrow glass stem post and full length Platinum lead-in wires.
