Famous Edison Lamp Collection DISCOVERED After Century in Darkness
John W. Howell's Address - The printed address on the hand written letter found in the Edison Collection wooden box has been identified as the home of John W. Howell. The book titled, "Book of The Incas," published by the Society of Incas (©1928), is a compilation of biographical sketches (arranged in alphabetical order of Sir names) of members of the Society of Incas (organized c.1926). The Society of Incas was an organization who's members were elected (inducted) into the society exclusively from the Incandescent Lamp Department of the General Electric Company. In the 1928 publication, the John W. Howell biographical sketch states, "He is married and living at 211 Ballantine Parkway, Newark, N.J."
